Bought this mascara because of a recommendation from a friend. So far, it works well. It is truly waterproof and does not smudge to my lower eyelids. I have had some problems with waterproof or smudge proof mascara. For example, Maybelline waterproof mascaras smudge on me.

YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils gives my short & sparse Asian lashes volume and length. Just two coats is enough to intensify my lashes. I can tell the difference when I wear this mascara. My eyes look more open. I like it better than my other favorite high-end mascara, DiorShow Iconic.

The only thing bad I can say about it is that if you apply too many coats, it will be come clumpy.

Even though it is pricy @ USD $30, I will buy it again.

I received a sample of Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream during my haul in December. But only used it recently on my trip to Shanghai. The weather in Shanghai was cooler with the spring breeze in full speed. As a result, my skin became tight and dry. I used Moistfull Collagen Cream at night and my skin felt hydrated. It left my skin feeling soft & supple. Its moisturizing properties is wonderful.

The texture of the cream is lightweight, and almost gel-like. The cream absorbs almost instantly into the skin. Even though I used the cream at night, I believe that this product is suitable for daytime use as well. It does not leave any residue, does not feel sticky, or oily.

My skin has been very sensitive to skincare products recently. But this did not trigger any adverse reactions on my skin. (FYI, I used it for 5 days while on the trip).

I like this product so much and can’t wait to buy the full-sized version. I don’t know how much it retails for in Singapore but I will definitely add this to my skincare routine.

Saw this at Watson’s while looking for a new face wash. Decided to try a travel size version first, due to the bad experiences I have with the last two face wash products I bought.

At the store, I saw that Aqualabel White Clear Foam won Watson’s Health Wellness & Beauty Awards 2012 for Best Selling Whitening Facial Cleanser. That made me want to try out this set more! Hopefully, this face wash does not cause any adverse reactions to my skin.

This is a simple white-and-black smoky eye with a more dramatic graphic liner twist. The eyeshadow isn’t hard to do, and is something that you can easily wear out, but the liquid liner is slightly trickier and it’s also not always hard to locate a very strongly pigmented white liquid liner, so it’s optional whether you want to follow the look exactly or just keep it simple and either skip the liquid liner, or only do the black.

If you’re looking for budget white liquid liners, Prestige used to have one, but I am not sure if it is still available. Unfortunately, most of the good matte whites I know are from more expensive brands like Illamasqua, Stila and Lime Crime.

This has been my skincare routine for this month. So far, it has kept my sensitive combination skin in a decent condition. Ever since I came back from the States, my skin has been very sensitive and prone to breakouts. After switching several face wash, I found that Fancl Washing Powder works pretty well to clean my face. It is gentle enough for my sensitive skin, and it leaves my skin soft & smooth. Partnering it with the Fancl Cleansing OIl, it thoroughly removes sunscreen and makeup.

Clinique De-Puffing Gel has a rollerball applicator which I use to massage my under eye area. The cooling gel makes my eye bags not as puffy. Ever since moving to a humid climate area, I find that my most eye creams are too thick and caused milia. That is why I’m using an eye gel instead now.

Murad Acne Spot Treatment has sulfur as its active ingredient. Sometimes the scent puts me off. Overall, it does an alright job in treating my breakouts. But I will not re-purchase it due to the pricing.

From my list, you can see that I opt out of moisturizer. Why you may ask? I find that SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is enough to keep my skin hydrated. Plus I find that the Shiseido sunscreen has some moisturizing properties.

Nature’s Cure is an excellent body and back acne treatment for breakouts caused by external conditions, such as sweating and friction from tight-fitting athletic gear and clothing. Plugged pores allow bacteria growth under the skin’s surface, causing inflammation that results in back acne, or acne on the chest, shoulders, arms or other parts of the body. Salicylic acid prevents body acne formation, including tough back acne, by exfoliating dead skin cells and clearing pores. It claims to:

• Penetrates pores
• Sprays from any angle, even upside down
• Fights acne from sports and sweat
• Maximum strength 2% salicylic acid formulation

I’ve been using this body acne treatment spray for over 3 months, twice a day, after shower. I can say that this product does not prevent back acne. My back acne is about the same as before I started using this product. I had high hopes for this product because it has one of the higher ratings for acne treatment spray.

The treatment spray is convenient in that it can be sprayed from any angle, so it can target hard-to-reach places. However, I find the 2% salicylic acid formulation is not strong enough for my severe back acne. I think I need to use another acne active ingredient. Salicylic acid is not cutting it for my back acne. I need something that will deeply penetrate the pores and prevent breakouts. Any suggestions, BeautyBright readers?

Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk in Grapefruit Syrup (S$17.50). The newest collection from Etude House. This is a lipstick that is moisturizing and sheer. It has a slight glossy finish. Grapefruit Syrup is a pink-peach color which is so pretty. I love the packaging! Isn’t it cute?

Saw this at Sasa Wisma Atria, and had to get my hands on it. This Bio-Oil pack retailed at S$14.50 . It comes with a 60 ml Bio-Oil and a pack of Antibacterial wipes. It claims to be the No.1 selling Scar and Stretch Mark product in Singapore.

I hope it does work to fade out my scars. *cross my fingers*
