Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid ($48) comes in only one shade, Sunkissed. The shade is a warm golden bronze. I’ve been searching for a highlighter that is not shimmery or too bronze. This has light-reflective pigments that gives your skin a nice healthy glow. The illuminating pigments are not too shimmery for everyday use.

The texture of the product is like a liquid foundation, so I apply it to my cheekbones and bridge of my nose using a foundation brush. It blends easily into my skin and sets rather quickly (~5 seconds). This product stays on all day, and does not cause my face to look oily. It is a great addition to my makeup routine because it brightens the whole face.

My skin is rather sensitive to cream blush or tints so I was afraid this would cause breakouts. But after using it for over two weeks, my skin has not had any adverse reactions.

The only thing I don’t like about this product is the packaging. Since it comes in a glass jar with a twist cap, it would be a difficult product to travel with. I would have preferred it if the product came with a pump.

Overall, Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid is a worthy product. I would not hesitate to re-purchase it.

Bought this sheer illuminating fluid from Chanel at the Macy’s beauty event. I loved how my skin looked when the makeup artist put it on. It gave a nice bronze glow. I can’t wait to try this at home and achieve that beautiful look.

A full size Sugarbomb box powder usually retails for $28 and a full size Posietint retails for $29. A great way to try some raved Benefit Cosmetics products.

At $48, it is quite a splurge. I’m wondering what other good liquid highlighters are there? I’ve tried Benefit High Beam and found it to white for my NC 35 complexion. Do you have any suggestion?

This high-lighter is pretty awesome when trying to achieve the perfect glow (which I love to do year round). “Golden Peach” is the perfect tone for my tan/yellow skin. And it is super cheap! ($1)  Everyone should have one! <3, JD
